CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Please handle with care. Rebecca's work is designed to be a decorative wall hanging only, not to be used as rugs or regularly handled. Avoid moisture except to gently steam the fringe if necessary shortly after installation. Use clean hands to comb through fringe or straighten strings at the top, careful to avoid snagging fibers. No maintenance cleaning is necessary besides gently dusting with a feather dusty as needed.

NOTES

While color representation is made as accurate as possible, please note that hues may vary from monitor to monitor. If you are commissioning a custom piece, samples of the materials can be sent free of charge for you to handle and compare in person.

Each made-to-order tapestry is created in response to a personal story, place, or relationship. Through conversation and reflection, the piece takes shape using natural fibers, subtle color palettes, and sculptural texture.

Meaningful materials—such as sea shells, stones, or other personal objects—can be woven directly into the work, becoming quiet markers of memory and connection. In this piece, shells collected by the couple were integrated as a way of honoring shared experiences and the life they’ve built together.

If you’re drawn to commissioning a tapestry that reflects something deeply meaningful, I invite you to begin a bespoke, intentional commission. Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully, in response to you.

This Woven Life

""This Woven Life” was commissioned to tell the story of our family and our 40 year journey together. The two lines symbolize my husband and me before we were married and the path that united us. The four tassels represent each of our four children. We also decided to include shells collected over many years to reflect some of our most treasured family memories spent in the Cayman Islands.
This beautiful tapestry represents our family, our life, and our memories."
