Frequently Asked Questions

How long are your processing times?

Processing time depends on the nature of your order. For all ready-to-ship pieces, please allow 2-3 days for processing and an addition 3-4 days for shipping. Tracking numbers will be shared with you as soon as your item(s) ships.

For custom wall hangings, lead time depends on the size of the piece, materials I have on hand, and how demanding my work load is at the time and can fluctuate between 1-6 months. Please contact me about your project for an estimated lead time.

Do you offer wholesale or trade discounts?

Due to the handmade and artisan nature of my work, i do not offer discounts. Understanding the difficulty for professionals to find original, handmade art, I aim to keep the process of working together smooth and simple. I look forward to partnering in creating unique pieces of art designed especially for your beautifully curated spaces.

What does the commission process look like?

What makes your work unique?

While weaving is an ancient practice, my particular weaving style continues to push the limits of the art form in creating highly textural, three-dimensional work that is unlike anything else. Each piece is one-of-a-kind: even previous designs that I replicate for clients retain a large amount of uniqueness due to the free-hand nature of my creative process. Everything is handmade by myself and great attention to detail is given to each wall hanging.

What kind of materials do you use?

I work closely with most of my suppliers for fiber to ensure the materials are ethically collected and made. The thoughtfully curated material selections for each piece include a wide variety of natural fibers including ethically sourced merino wool, recycled silk, and plant-based fibers such as cotton, hemp, and jute. Upon request i can also create pieces that are entirely vegan. A complete list of materials for your custom piece can be provided upon request.

How do I care for my fiber art?

After receiving your fiber artwork please unpack as soon as possible. Carefully unwrap and hang / mount the artwork. During transport the piece can sometimes become wrinkled or disheveled, so you may need to run your fingers through the fringe to help it hang correctly.

To clean your wall hanging, only lightly dust the top of the dowel as needed. Do not use a damp cloth or steam cleaner to clean the art, as you risk damaging the fibers or having dye run out.

Please be sure to follow these instructions to ensure a long lifespan for your precious wall hanging.
